Wish List: Anthro Edition

Let me preface this post by stating that if I could register at Anthropologie I would. I have a seemingly endless wish list that is typically made up of adorable pieces from their house & home section (& clothing & accessories & so on & so forth).

Here are the eight items at the top of my list:

1. Taste-Test Recipe Book
2. Symbology Trivet
3. If You Wash, I'll Dry Dishtowel
4. Celestial Coaster Set (seafoam)
5. Potted Butter Dish
6. Home At 7, Dinner At 8: 100 Satisfying Suppers On The Table In An Hour Or Less
7. Latte Bowls (seafoam)
8. Crossed Spoons Plate Stand

We're in the process of giving our tiny kitchen a freshening up and our accent colour is seafoam. I also want to incorporate a few pops of red so I'm clearly gravitating to this palette. I'm not one for "matchy-matchy" and our taste is quite random eclectic so this collection would fit in perfectly.

A Surprise for Newlyweds

Chiara Alberetti Milott, a contributor at Oh Happy Day, sounds like good people. After all, she is brains behind this fantastic idea. I can't think of a more thoughtful reception for a couple returning from their wedding or honeymoon, can you?

Rifle Paper Co. Wedding Collection

I am a huge fan of Rifle Paper Co. (seen here, here, and here) so it's no surprise that I'm head over heels for their wedding collection. I just love the colour palette and the vintage feel.

Today Ben and I are in Delta prepping for the highly anticipated wedding of our amazing friends Matt & Jen who get married TOMORROW on the ninth day of July, their ninth anniversary. (Where has the time gone)? B and I are so very excited to stand up beside these two beautiful people and toast to the next chapters of their story. Congratulations Matt & Jen. We love you very much.


Miranda Karkling took these stunning engagement shots a couple of weeks ago. Don't you think they turned out perfectly? I cried a little bit when I saw them. (Yes, I'm bringing tissues to the ceremony).

let's get married in Brooklyn.

I fell in love with the sweetness of this wedding. Everything about these photos portray a relaxed and well thought out celebration full of personalized details. Even the rain is charming (confession: I secretly want it to rain on my wedding day so I can wear wellies and stand under huge umbrellas). Isn't the photography stunning?






This proves that weddings that incorporate a lot of DIY projects don't have to end up kitschy.
