I know I am behind the 8-ball with this post; however, I am very interested in your feedback regarding Ivanka Trump’s custom Vera Wang wedding dress. The real estate heiress and budding business woman married Jared Kushner, a New York publisher, last month in a classic Grace Kelly-inspired gown.
The more I’ve considered this dress, the more I appreciate it. I find its unique, classic style to be refreshing and feel it was a perfect fit for the bride.
What are your thoughts? Would you consider a classic style over a contemporary gown?

I like modern dresses more, but that dress is beautiful.
I too prefer cutting edge dresses but then, I'm a designer. However, I do believe The Grace Kelly Gown by Helen Rose is the finest bridal gown ever made. If you ever saw it in the Philadelphia Museum of Art or researched it you'd know why. Of Ivana's gown, Vera Wang confessed after 15 years of designing mostly strapless bodices, she enjoyed doing Ivana's timeless and traditional gown.

I am more of an unique style, I am an artist so different from main stream is always better for me. I think her dress is beautiful, but Grace Kelly's l love more (I love how she has long sleeves)

I think it is both and I truly love it, especially on her.
Lace is so stunning when used well. I do love both dresses and I agree: Ivana is one of the few in Hollywood who could pull this one off.
I love her dress, and she wears it beautifully. You put it well-- it is a bit of timeless elegance.
I just about always prefer classic styles and will definitely go with a classic wedding dress when it's my turn. I think I prefer GK's to IT's but I's is definitely quite beautiful.
