What to Wear - Engagement Photo Session

I am a huge fan of Jill Thomas’ work.

Her use of landscape, colour, props, and light amaze me; her eye for capturing moments that are both unique & lovely is remarkable.

Needless to say, I was ecstatic to find her 5-Step-Guide to flawless engagement photos. Her suggestions (and the photos she has chosen to depict them) are amazing.

If you have an engagement shoot, wedding photos, glamour shots, (or even a webcam macbook self-portrait session) coming up, I encourage you to head over to her blog. Heck, head there anyway if you appreciate photography.

Don't you just love her style?

These look great. I get so bored of seeing couples in white T-shirts and jeans! Love and expression go together, right?! :)

Hey! I have been away from blog world lately but as soon as I popped back on I see that you are still posting inspiring things. I just looked at these pics a couple of days ago! I am doing a little photography now www.swoonphotography.ca

Christina - I love the "&" sign, too! What a fun prop.

Nicole - Agreed: what a bore. Engagement shots are the perfect opportunity to be wild and unique (& - really - who doesn't like costume changes & props).

Janna - Welcome back! I love your photography: so excited to see more. My friend's wedding is a future thought; however, there will be more Mountie-inspired boards soon!

Mir, I love that idea, too, and I'm keeping my eyes open for you!

PS: I would love to have a 10-photo challenge with you some day. Wouldn't that be fun?!
